The Jonard Tools patented and award-winning MS-6 Mid Span Slitter is designed to open fiber jackets and provide easy access to optical fibers in loose buffer tubes with 1.2 - 3.3 mm diameter. With 6 precision grooves to handle various cable sizes, the sleek ergonomic design allows you to open a fiber jacket or buffer tube without damaging the fiber. The blades are replaceable with Part Number: MSB-1533.
• Groove Sizes: 1.2 - 1.5, 1.5 - 1.8, 1.8 - 2.1, 2.1 - 2.5, 2.5 - 2.9, 2.9 - 3.3 mm
• This tool is specified for use on the OFS EZ-Bend 3.0 mm cable.
• Works on Corning's outdoor ALTOS loose tube, Microduct MiniXtend HD and MiniXtend cable with Binderless FastAccess Technology, and on their indoor/outdoor FREEDM and LSZH loose tube cables having 1.4, 1.7, 2.5 mm buffer tubes.
• Works great on PPC semiflex 3 mm
