International Orders
Microcom welcomes business from international customers and currently exports to more than 100 countries. International customers are responsible for any duties or taxes related to the order. Please contact your sales representative for further details related to payment and shipping.

Payment
All prices displayed on the website are in U.S. Dollars. Microcom accepts Visa, MasterCard and American Express with no surcharge. Your credit card will not be billed until your order ships.

Purchase orders are accepted from U.S. companies (no individuals) with pre-approved credit. If you would like to apply for a credit account, please call us at (818) 880-8008. Credit approval normally takes at least 5 business days.

All sales are COD or prepaid unless credit is approved. A finance charge will be applied each month on past due accounts computed at the rate of 1.5% per month. If legal proceedings are instituted hereunder, the prevailing party shall be entitled to reasonable attorney's fees and court costs incurred therein. All sales are considered final and complete after 15 days from date of invoice. No returns for refund will be accepted after 15 days.

All resellers in the state of California must have a valid California seller's permit on file before products are shipped. Otherwise, sales tax will be applied. On sales outside the United States, all required duties, licenses and fees shall be payable by the buyer in addition to the stated prices.

Shipment
We strive to ship all "in-stock" orders the same business day if the order is received by 11:00 a.m. PST. Some orders may require a signed credit card authorization form that could delay shipment. In the event that an item is not in stock, we will notify you by e-mail or phone with an estimated delivery time. Sorry, we cannot ship to P.O. Boxes.

Delivery terms are Ex-Works Calabasas, California unless otherwise specified in writing. Title to the merchandise shall pass to the buyer upon delivery of the merchandise to the common carrier.

Shipping to 48 Continental United States: Most regular shipments under 150 pounds will be via UPS Ground unless the customer specifies another type of shipping on their order form. All UPS charges will be added to the customer's invoice.

Very large or heavy orders will be shipped via ground freight LTL unless specified otherwise by the customer.

Shipping to Hawaii and Alaska: Packages are limited to 70 pounds. All UPS charges will be added to the customer's invoice.

Return Policy
Equipment Return - No used product may be returned for credit, replacement, or exchange other than as provided for in Microcom's Limited Warranty. New, unused/uninstalled, product many be returned in original packing, including all components, cables, software, manuals, etc., within 10 business days of invoice for credit only and may be subject to a 20% restocking fee. All sales of mini-PCI cards and OEM modules are considered final and may be returned for repair or replacement only if they are found to be defective out of the box. Manufacturer’s warranty may apply to these items.

Return Material Authorization - All returns must be accompanied by a Microcom Return Material Authorization form that may be obtained by contacting Microcom at sales@microcomtec.com or (818) 880-8008. Customer is responsible for all return freight charges.

Microcom Academy Classes
Cancellations made more than 14 calendar days before the class start date may be charged a $100 processing fee. No refunds will be issued on cancellations made 14 or fewer calendar days from the class start date – student forfeits entire tuition fee. Microcom reserves the right to change pricing, registration terms and conditions, to make changes to any of our products or programs described on this website, or to change a course location or cancel a course at any time without notice or liability. Microcom's sole liability will be limited to the refunding of any fees paid in respect of the course, and Microcom shall not be responsible for any incidental or consequential loss arising whatsoever. Microcom will endeavor to give students as much advance notice as possible of any change to their enrollment. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, any terms or conditions specified on or referenced within an ordering document shall have no force or effect, and in no event shall Microcom's performance of services or provision of products constitute acceptance of any such terms or conditions.

Limited Warranties

Appropriate Use – Selection of product, its installation and use are the sole responsibility of the customer. Microcom provides no skill or judgment related to the application of the products it sells.

Manufacturer-labeled warranty - Microcom sells the products of reputable manufacturers under their respective brand or trade names. Microcom makes no express or implied warranty as to such goods. Customer remedies for defects of goods are subject to any limitations contained in their manufacturer's terms and conditions to Microcom and the provisions of the manufacturer's warranty, either or both of which will be furnished upon request. Microcom is not responsible for any warranty-related issues.

Microcom-labeled warranty – Microcom warrants the product sold under its name to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of invoice. This warranty does not apply to products that: are opened, altered, or defaced; are not used in accordance with instructions and the normal intended use; or require replacement due to normal use, natural disaster, rust or corrosion, lightning strike, power surge, physical damage to internal or external parts. Defective items may be repaired or replaced at the sole discretion of Microcom.

THIS WARRANTY IS THE ONLY WARRANTY APPLICABLE TO THE GOODS PURCHASED HEREUNDER AND IS EXPRESSLY IN LIEU OF ANY WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS OTHERWISE IMPLIED BY LAW INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR MERCHANTABILITY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR LABOR, LOSS OF PRODUCT, CONSEQUENTIAL OR INDIRECT DAMAGE.

Typographical errors
Microcom Technologies, Inc. is not responsible for typographical errors or omissions relating to pricing, copy, photography or application. In the event of a pricing error we will contact you via e-mail or telephone with the corrected pricing information. We also reserve the right to limit quantities ordered.
